Operations Director - E-Commerce

This is a senior leadership role in a fast-paced e-commerce platform that connects a global audience with high-quality cultural goods and services.

We are a dynamic team of professionals from the culture, arts, and digital sectors, working together to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The Operations Director will oversee all facets of our platform's development and daily operations, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience. This includes managing multiple priorities, delivering projects on time and within budget, and implementing operational processes and systems to improve efficiency and scalability.

  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals to foster a motivated and engaged work environment.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality products and services that align with our brand values and ethos.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our company's long-term strategy.
Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar senior management role.
  • Demonstrable experience within the e-commerce and digital sectors, with a strong understanding of how online platforms operate.
  • Proven experience in leading, managing, and developing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear reports and presenting to senior stakeholders.

  • Has a commercial mindset with experience in sales-focused or target-driven environments.
