Job Description

The primary function of a Junior Accounting Technician is to provide support services to the wider team by executing routine tasks and ensuring that all work meets exceptionally high standards.

  • Assisting senior colleagues in liaising with clients to gather information and communicate verbally on routine matters.
  • Providing assistance on audit engagements, preparing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and management accounts.
  • Visiting client premises and communicating effectively with external clients to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ensuring timely completion and technical competence of all assigned tasks.
  • Contributing to teamwork and activities enhancing business and client standards.
  • Representing the organization professionally through appearance, conduct, and attitude.
Key Requirements
  • Entry-level position working towards AAT/ACA/ACCA or IATI qualifications preferred.
  • Comfortable handling numbers, detail-oriented, process-driven, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Dependable and reliable team player, professional demeanor, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Confidentiality and proficiency in computer and Microsoft Office applications.
