EHS Compliance Specialist

Job Overview:
Asset Recruitment is recruiting an EHS Specialist for a contract position, on behalf of our client, a growing pharmaceutical manufacturer in Carlow. In this role, you will provide technical guidance to the organization to ensure compliance with legal requirements related to EHS as well as the company's corporate standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines related to EHS and industry best practices.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage EHS programs to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with operational departments to achieve compliance.
- Provide expert advice to management and regulatory agencies.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop incident response plans.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of EHS regulations and industry best practices.
