Join our partner in recruiting a Fund Accounting Analyst for their growing Dublin office.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued success of a renowned organisation in the asset management space, working closely with various teams within and outside the Finance department.
- The successful candidate will oversee the completion of the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and various reconciliations for multiple legal entities related to expenses.
- They will conduct detailed account variance analyses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, providing ongoing support to the fund administrator and assisting auditors during the annual audit process.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and analysis for fund administrators, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Perform reconciliations and analysis for a wide range of traded products, including equities, fixed income, commodities, and derivatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Newly qualified Accountant, preferably with experience in public or private accounting, specifically within hedge funds, private equity, or fund administration.
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
