Residential Finishing Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented residential finishing supervisor to oversee the final stages of a high-profile residential development in East Cork.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all works are completed to specification, on schedule, and with exceptional attention to detail.
  • They will supervise and coordinate all finishing trades on site, including carpentry, painting, tiling, flooring, and joinery.
  • Liaison with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers will be essential to ensure smooth workflow.
  • The candidate will conduct regular inspections and snagging to maintain quality control.
  • They will also manage timelines and ensure handover deadlines are met.
  • Maintaining health & safety standards and site cleanliness is crucial.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a residential finishing supervisor on similar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of finishing trades and techniques is required.
  • The ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications is essential.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are necessary.
  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality are expected.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is crucial.
