Senior Private Equity Fund Accounting Manager

The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of exceptional client service and ensure that key clients receive high-quality service in accordance with agreed standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement key client service programs to drive business growth and improve client satisfaction.
  • Liaise internally with operational areas to ensure awareness of key client requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Evaluate service quality through regular client visits and provide recommendations for enhancement.
  • Assist in resolving complex client issues and manage escalations within the team and department.
  • Train and assist assigned Account Managers in managing their teams and driving business results.
  • Participate in the review of procedures and policies to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Contribute to client conference calls and provide expert guidance on financial matters.
  • Liaise with clients regarding reporting requirements and deadlines, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Identify and recommend solutions to mitigate risk associated with current and potential new funds under administration.
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage operational risks and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry and regulatory changes, and contribute to the development and promotion of company initiatives.
Requirements:
  • You hold a degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related discipline, or a professional accounting designation (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
  • You have 7-10 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably with exposure to Product Control, Operations, or Fund Accounting environments within Private Equity.
  • You possess strong technical knowledge of Private Equity Fund Accounting and are familiar with Investran or other Private Equity software packages.
  • You can demonstrate skills in negotiation, business planning, budgeting, margin analysis, rating agency relations, and technical accounting.
  • You have experience in developing, implementing, and optimizing business processes and projects.
  • You are knowledgeable about International GAAP/IFRS Accounting Principles and have superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • You possess advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
