Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Expert to join our team as a Field Service Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced automated machinery systems, working closely with internal engineering teams and providing technical support to end-users.

Main Responsibilities
  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of complex automated machinery systems.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical faults, particularly electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Providing technical support and training to end-users on customer sites.
  • Traveling regularly throughout Ireland to client sites, with occasional international travel for training.
  • Collaborating with internal engineering teams to drive continuous product improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, preferably with a time-served apprenticeship or relevant qualification.
  • Proven experience in a similar Field Service Technician role, with a focus on technical problem-solving and customer support.
  • Excellent electrical and mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with a deep understanding of industrial automation.
  • An ability to work independently, with a customer-centric and solutions-driven approach.
  • Flexibility for travel throughout Ireland, with occasional international travel required.
