Villa Rotunda Limited T/A The garden House seeks a Commis Chef to join their team. Main duties include planning menus, preparing and cooking foodstuffs or overseeing their preparation and monitoring the quality of finished dishes.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare menus for the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Cook and prepare foodstuffs to order, using only the freshest ingredients available.
  • Oversee the preparation and cooking of foodstuffs in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to a high standard.
  • Monitor the quality of finished dishes, making adjustments as necessary to ensure that they meet the required standards.
  • Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • An ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
