Mid-Sized Accountancy Firm in Cork City Seeks Part Qualified Accountant

We are currently seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to join our team in Cork City. Reporting directly to the Audit Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing clients and ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience working in a quality firm and will be looking to develop their career in practice. The role will involve preparing financial statements under local and international GAAP, ensuring accuracy of legal documents, and identifying errors or problems and recommending solutions to team members or supervisors.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Preparation of financial statements (under local and international GAAP)
  • Ensuring accuracy of legal documents
  • Identify errors or problems and independently investigate; recommend solutions to team members or supervisors
