Electrical Site Engineer Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Site Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on high-profile projects across Ireland and EMEA, delivering electrical installations that meet design intent, safety standards, and project timelines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in site-based environments and a willingness to work on a diverse range of projects including data centres, commercial builds, industrial developments, and fit-outs.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting electrical design drawings, attending FATs and witness testing, carrying out system walkdowns and snagging inspections, and overseeing QA/QC of electrical packages.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree qualified or certified in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in electrical site engineering, preferably within building services
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems: LV/MV distribution, emergency lighting, cable containment, fire alarm systems, etc.
  • Confident communicator with excellent coordination and reporting skills
  • Detail-focused, organised, and able to manage deadlines on active construction sites
