Delightful Deli Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a deli assistant.

This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food offerings. You will also be involved in daily kitchen operations, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and chilled products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve high-quality food offerings in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Daily Kitchen Operations: Support daily kitchen operations, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and chilled products.
  • Stock Management and Control: Practice effective stock management and portion control.
  • Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean workspace and facilities in compliance with HACCP legislation.
  • Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service at all times.

Additional responsibilities include complete assigned deli checks in line with operational standards, receive and check stock in accordance with company guidelines, store and display products in line with food hygiene and merchandising policies, rotate stock appropriately to minimize waste, and remain vigilant at all times to prevent stock loss and waste.

Requirements include flexibility to work across shifts Monday to Sunday, including evenings and weekends, strong focus on food hygiene, safety, and quality, previous experience in a deli or food service environment is an advantage but not essential, and excellent communication and customer service skills.
