Our goal is to deliver a cutting-edge fit strategy, leading to commercial success and customer satisfaction.

This role requires an innovative leader with strong technical expertise in pattern cutting, garment construction, sampling, and fit development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in 3D fitting processes, having successfully implemented and scaled these technologies within a global retail environment.

As a senior leadership professional, you will oversee the development of a robust strategy on fit, leveraging global data and customer insights to ensure Primark's fit evolves with the market and global shifts in body shape. Your vision and leadership skills will be essential in driving fit consistency across all departments and markets.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the implementation and advancement of new technologies and processes to establish a robust, market-leading fitting function across all departments.
  • Defining and maintaining technical fit standards tailored to the needs of our global retail markets.
  • Collaborating closely with Quality, Design, Buying, leadership teams, supply chain partners, and external partners to ensure alignment and consistency in core product fits.
  • Overseeing and maintaining appropriate grading rules, ensuring they are simple to understand and use for both internal teams and suppliers.

Key qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 10 years of operating in a senior leadership capacity with a proven track record of building strategy and implementing changes in high-volume global businesses.
  • Extensive technical expertise in pattern cutting, garment construction, sampling, and fit development with a deep understanding of the end-to-end apparel development process.
  • Proven ability to operate at both a strategic and tactical level, with the ability to shift between high-level thinking and day-to-day detail.
