Job DescriptionThe Senior Scientist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the reliable and compliant manufacture of API External Manufacturing portfolio.
Key responsibilities include executing technical projects to improve process control, yield, purity, and/or productivity.
- Develops a deep understanding of scientific principles required for manufacturing intermediates and bulk drug substances, including the interaction of chemistry and equipment.
- Executes experimental, modeling, and production data analysis projects to optimize process performance.
- Provides technical support for the preparation of relevant technical documents, such as reports, change controls, regulatory submissions, and deviation investigations.
Ensures that accurate instruction sets and process flow diagrams describe the process as performed and the control strategy for discrete manufacturing steps.
Monitors established metrics in real-time to assess process variability and capability.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Strong scientific background with expertise in chemistry and equipment interactions.
- Proven ability to execute technical projects and analyze data.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
