Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Process Specialist to support our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. This role involves collaborating with process managers to optimize plant performance, maintaining ownership of plant P&IDs and functional specifications, and contributing to proposals for new product introductions.


Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support to production operations, including troubleshooting, reviewing set-up documents, and working with process managers.
  • Maintain ownership of plant P&IDs and functional specifications.
  • Contribute to proposals and planning for new product introductions.
  • Act as Process Design Engineer/User Representative on new product and plant projects: Define project scope; Participate in HAZOPs; Lead change control processes (quality and safety); Conduct ZHAs and support commissioning & qualification.
  • Mentor and support junior Process Engineers.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a pharmaceutical small molecule environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in PC applications; experience with systems like SAP, Comos, CMX is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of plant engineering specs, automation, and process safety.
  • Experience in customer or regulatory audits is advantageous.
