About the Position

This is a key position within our manufacturing department, requiring a skilled professional to oversee the smooth operation of our processes and equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of upstream manufacturing processes, including fed-batch bioreactors, DCS systems, and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Represent the operations team on cross-functional project teams.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment, with a focus on optimization.
  • Report process performance using statistical process control.
  • Troubleshoot DCS and PLC control systems.
  • Investigate and resolve issues within the manufacturing department.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams as required.
  • Support commissioning and qualification activities.
  • Prepare and update batch records, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Provide process and equipment training within the manufacturing department.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical discipline, along with at least 5 years' experience in a quality, validation, or compliance role within the biological or pharmaceutical industry.

A strong understanding of upstream fed-batch bioreactors, DCS systems, SCADA, and PLC systems is essential. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with cell culture or purification processes, project/new equipment installation, and GMP manufacturing.
