Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Packaging Department, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance productivity and efficiency.

Your primary focus will be on analyzing existing production lines, equipment performance, and workflow to identify areas for improvement. You will develop and implement cost-justified solutions to prevent reoccurrence and drive continuous improvement.

You will work closely with the Project Team to support New Product Introduction and set up processes to meet required timelines. Your strong analytical skills, combined with your ability to communicate effectively, will enable you to manage and communicate progress on Improvement Projects.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze manufacturing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement cost-justified solutions to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and ensure seamless integration.
  • Support the introduction of new products and processes, ensuring timely and efficient setup.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process improvements.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A 3rd-level qualification in an Engineering discipline.
  • Experience working in a technical role within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities, with the ability to identify facts, consider alternative approaches, and evaluate the most appropriate action.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma tools and data analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
