Manufacturing Systems Expert

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of manufacturing systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cycle counting checks and stock alignment across systems to ensure optimal inventory management.
  • Perform scheduled stocktakes outside of cycle counts as per defined frequency, including annual site stocktake.
  • Align backflush materials and liaise with master data on factor changes if required.
  • Verify consumption records in MES/SAP and TECO in SAP to ensure data integrity.
  • Follow up daily and correct 'problem' stock issues by resolving iDocs/COGI errors.
  • Complete missing transactions in TKD or other systems as necessary.
  • Develop new SOP/OPL procedures and provide coaching and training to the manufacturing team on correct system use.
  • Correct incorrect product declarations across all systems.
  • Liaise with finance for month-end closure and resolve any issues blocking the process in a timely manner.
  • Investigate production orders with unexpected associated activities or consumptions.
  • Assist other departments with MFG input in new system development or improvement projects.
  • Setup and train new users on manufacturing systems.
  • Configure MFG systems for trials, new products, etc. Liaise with WISE, DANIS, GEA.
  • Log and respond to tickets weekly. Attend Raws and Stocks meetings regularly.
  • Run, construct, and send reports as required. Update WISE master data as requested.
  • Poka system administrator: create forms, set up new plant structures in Poka.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.
  • Relevant third-level qualification.
  • Knowledge of SAP modules and their interaction within a multinational organisation.
  • Proficiency in data entry and management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Strong numerical ability to record, interpret, and analyse key process data.
  • Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
