
Manufacturing Process Lead

The Staff Engineer, Manufacturing is a key member of our Industrialisation team, responsible for leading the strategy and technical direction for one or more manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive efficiency and process optimisation through technology adoption and strategic planning.
- Establish and uphold technical governance and best practices to ensure a robust and scalable manufacturing process from early concept to full production.
- Evaluate and improve manufacturing initiatives, leveraging the latest engineering techniques.
- Act as a mentor and technical leader, supporting engineers across projects and ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and synergy in all aspects of the process development lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Deep expertise in manufacturing processes, with experience in downstream technologies such as CNC machining, inspection techniques, and polishing processes an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and its application in manufacturing and inspection.
- Strong background in process improvement, tooling strategies, and technology integration.
- Proven ability to lead and influence across multiple teams and projects.
- Experience with technical governance, standards development, and mentoring engineers.
- Background in medtech, precision manufacturing, aerospace, or related high-tolerance industries preferred.
Qualifications:
- Level 8 Degree in STEM subject
- 6 years experience in similar role
