Localization Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Localization Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the management of the Computer Aided Translation (CAT) tool and associated resources.

The candidate will play a key role in supporting our Project Managers by assisting in preparing files for translation, automating processes, and developing tools and scripts for Production and external clients.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing engineering support to colleagues in Production.
  • Investigating new file types, creating filters and workflows.
  • Improving localisation engineering processes.
  • Serving as a product owner for our CAT tool, liaising with the tool's provider, flagging issues and requesting new features.
  • Identifying areas for automation.
  • Creating macros and scripts to automate processes.
  • Mentoring junior Engineers.
  • Actively participating in strategic initiatives and providing expert support to deliver such projects.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for external and internal clients when required.
