Job Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our innovative manufacturing environment. This is a full-time contract position based on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring alignment with vendor service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Evaluate and maintain spare parts availability for continuous, reliable site operations.
  • Assist in registering equipment and instrumentation within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Support FATs, project walkdowns, commissioning processes, and documentation handovers.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) for facility operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to validate and qualify equipment, focusing on HVAC and Process Air systems.
  • Monitor engineering metrics, report results, and drive action plans for performance improvement.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives through digital tools and MSD Production System methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to integrate diverse technical perspectives and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment is highly desirable.
