Forestry Technician Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to work in forestry management, ensuring the successful establishment of young forests through collaboration with landowners and officials.

The role involves producing environmental reports and maps for woodland applications, as well as working on-site to establish new forests.

Responsibilities:
  • Produce detailed environmental reports and maps for woodland applications.
  • Work with landowners and contractors to ensure the successful establishment of young forests.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as ecology or environmental science.
  • Registration with CIEEM or ability to register.
  • Full driving license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer literacy including email, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with people daily.
  • Interest in woodlands and the timber industry.
