Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Supervising Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the dispensary and ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.

The main duties of this role include:

  • Managing the dispensary in accordance with legal responsibilities pertaining to the profession of pharmacy
  • Exercising all aspects of law, ethics, and codes of practice as laid down by the Irish Pharmaceutical Society
  • Providing a safe and efficient dispensing service to all customers in accordance with pharmacy guidelines
  • Ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medicines to all customers
  • Interacting with other health professionals
  • Supporting management of monthly submissions to regulatory bodies

The successful candidate will have excellent business acumen, be highly organised, possess excellent interpersonal skills, be customer focused and able to work under pressure.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must hold a PSI approved Pharmacy Qualification and be registered with the relevant governing body.

This role may suit someone who is thinking of advancing their career in a supervisory role.
