We are seeking a qualified Senior Hospital Pharmacist to join our team in Cork. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-standard Aseptic Compounding Unit, providing essential services to cancer patients.
About the Role- The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in the Aseptic Compounding Unit, contributing to the preparation and quality assurance of aseptically prepared products.
- Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and relevant regulatory standards, as well as contributing to the safe and effective use of chemotherapy and other aseptically prepared medications.
- The ideal candidate will provide clinical input and support for oncology and haematology services, maintaining documentation, protocols, and procedures within the aseptic unit.
- Audit, training, and ongoing service development will also be key responsibilities.
We require a candidate with prior experience in hospital pharmacy, preferably within cancer services. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
