Cancer Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Oncology Specialist to join our team.
About the Role:
- Coordinate systemic anti-cancer treatment for oncology patients.
- Provide specialist nursing care, advice, information, and support for patients requiring SACT.
- Educate and support newly diagnosed cancer patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Nursing Care: Provide holistic patient assessments using CTCAE and coordinate tests, treatments, and follow-ups safely and efficiently.
- Education and Support: Educate patients and families about SACT, side effects, and provide psychosocial support.
- Coordination: Attend Oncology Consultant Clinics, identify and facilitate referral pathways, and collaborate with medical teams.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Registered with NMBI or eligible for registration.
- Completed an Oncology/Cancer Nursing post-registration program.
- Minimum 5 years' post-registration experience in acute oncology.
- Ongoing professional development and evidence of suitability for the role.
