Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Care Specialist to provide exceptional care to individuals with intellectual disabilities in Cork.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering person-centred care and be passionate about empowering service users to live their lives to the fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • A degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or relevant qualification or eligible for CORU registration or be CORU Registered.
  • Experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and supervise staff/service users in a residential setting.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A full manual driving license.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the service users' needs are met, teaching daily living and social skills, establishing positive relationships, engaging in activities and completing household tasks. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and completing other tasks as required.
