Job Overview

The MetroLink Project presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled Delivery Engineer to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of this transformative public transport infrastructure project.

This role will involve providing support to the MetroLink Directorate team, working with a multidisciplinary team to introduce new technology and methods, delivering technical aspects of the design and construction phase, and ensuring consistency and quality from design to manufacture and test phases.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will participate in regular design process meetings and workshops with the integrated Metrolink team, assist in coordination of requirements, and input into reports providing measurement metrics on ongoing completion of tasks.

About the Role
  • Deliver technical expertise in design and construction to achieve Permit to Operate.
  • Support the delivery manager in all activities related to designing, procuring, installing, and handover of sites and testing of equipment.
  • Monitor and report on performance and quality of design work by Contractor and monitor progress against agreed programme of works.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in an engineering environment, either in design or in construction for projects in an urban area.
  • Knowledge of relevant and related engineering specifications and standards - IS, BS, EN, NFPA, and other international standards.
  • Ability to engage with and manage relationships with various stakeholders, including customers, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and ensure cohesive project delivery.
