About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that involves working with children and adolescents who have complex needs arising from disabilities.

Job Description

This role is part of Enable Ireland's delivery of children's services under the national Progressing Disabilities Services (PDS) model. As a senior member of the interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing speech and language services, including assessment and intervention, to children enrolled on the Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNT).

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop individualized plans for children and adolescents with complex needs
  • Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services, including assessment, intervention, and consultation
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including parents, teachers, and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive support for children and families
  • Conduct assessments of need and develop treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Prescribe and monitor equipment based on children's needs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A registration on the Speech Therapists Register maintained by CORU
  • At least three years of post-qualification clinical experience
  • The requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
  • Proof of Statutory Registration on the Speech and Language TherapistRegister maintained by CORU
