Refrigeration Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and repair of refrigeration systems across Ireland and internationally.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Identify and resolve complex issues with refrigeration systems, utilizing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a refrigeration service technician role.
  • Proven track record working on large commercial projects.
  • Strong experience with servicing and maintaining a variety of refrigeration equipment.
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and manage assignments without supervision.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with VSDs, motor starter controls, and a strong understanding of BMS systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Electrical and mechanical building services experience is essential.
  • Professional certifications in HVAC or refrigeration (highly desirable).
  • Proficient in using PC-based tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
