Accounts Manager Role Overview

MCS Group is partnering with a well-established and reputable practice in Banbridge to recruit a driven and ambitious manager to join their team.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to be hands-on with a portfolio of clients and progress their career to partner level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing the work of junior team members - accounts preparation and tax returns
  • Meeting with clients, dealing with queries, providing support and advice
  • Overseeing the tax function in the practice, ensuring tax returns are completed, advising on capital allowances etc.
  • Assisting with the day-to-day running of the practice
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A qualified accountant from a general practice background
  • Previous experience managing a portfolio of clients
  • Experience managing and delegating work to a tiered team
  • An ideal fit for a close-knit, collaborative team environment
