Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive procurement strategy to support the development and delivery of renewable energy projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate suppliers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Negotiate contracts with key suppliers, leveraging expertise in procurement processes and contract management.
  • Coordinate with project managers and ECM teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement activities with project timelines.
  • Provide commercial insights and technical expertise to inform decision-making on procurement strategies and contract negotiations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering or related field.
  • 4-5+ years' experience in renewable energy procurement, preferably in utility-scale solar PV and/or battery storage.
  • Proven track record in procuring construction services and equipment for renewable projects, including utility-scale solar PV, BESS, and grid connection infrastructure.
  • Experience negotiating infrastructure construction and supply equipment contracts is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, resource management, and software skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Valid driver's license for UK & Ireland.
