The RolePE Global are recruiting for aProcurement Assistantfor our energy client based in Dublin CC.This is an initial 12-month contract role, with hybrid working options.Job ResponsibilitiesThis position will sit in the Governance and Procurement Department within Corporate Services Directorate and will support Procurement Department.As Procurement Assistant you will assist and support Procurement Department to ensure that contract information in the finance system is correctly input and maintained to allow contract spending to be accurately monitored on a per contract basis.The role will support in administering the functions of the department and assist in the implementation of operational work activities for the team.Essential Requirements:A third level or professional qualification in business or a related area (minimum Level 6 on the NFQ or greater).Minimum of two years' direct relevant experience working in a similar administrative/coordination role.Experience in data entry.Excellent IT skills and experience working with broad office 365 package including Excel.Experience working across multiple teams.Proven attention to detail, and good organisational skills and the ability to meet key deadlines and learn at a fast pace.Self-driven with an ability to work on own initiative and a proactive approach to resolving issues.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Desirable Requirements:Experience working in a procurement or governance function.Previous experience working in a public body or a knowledge of public sector accounting with a strong understanding of the principals of governance.Previous experience of Integra accounting software.Previous experience of SharePoint software.Interest in or knowledge of the sustainable energy sector in Ireland.A general knowledge of and / or previous experience with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).Interested candidates should submit an updated CV.Please click the link below to apply, or alternatively send an up-to-date CV*********Please note our client cannot assist with any visa sponsorship and candidates must have the correct visa to live and work in Ireland****#J-18808-Ljbffr
