Transport Logistics Coordinator Role

This role involves overseeing the real-time control of live operations overnight, preparing strategies for the next day.

The successful candidate will communicate effectively with drivers and colleagues, involved in transport management processes and coordination.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain control of operations overnight, ensuring all planned activities are executed and making adjustments as needed.
  • Organise collection and shipping of trailers to and from Dublin port.
  • Ensure cross-checking of all customs clearance.
  • Oversee night-to-night operations across all functions, including drivers, deliveries, incidents, and planning.
  • Monitor driver deliveries and provide support to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Work with available drivers to address unaccompanied trailers arriving into Dublin port.
  • Maintain constant communication with the warehouse team.
  • Provide a smooth handover to the daytime team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in the transport industry.
  • Previous customer service experience via telephone and email.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload.
  • Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
