The Water Institute at Dublin City University (DCU) is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with project partners and stakeholders from various backgrounds, including catchment managers, water treatment engineers, community groups, and wildlife and conservation managers.

As a Research Assistant, you will be responsible for analyzing problem areas and co-developing lake digital twins at multiple demonstrator sites across Europe. You will engage with stakeholders through workshops, follow-up discussions, qualitative interviews, and surveys to identify water quality challenges and prioritize them based on impact, likelihood, and complexity.

The appointee will work closely with the project coordinator, Dr. Valerie McCarthy, and other project partners from Bangor University and the Aquatic Ecology of the Netherlands Institute of Ecology (NIOO-KNAW).
