Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Credit Collection Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely payment from customers, setting up new customer accounts and managing their credit limits.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in finance and has strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Collecting payments from customers and allocating them to the correct accounts
- Monitoring customer debt levels and working towards established debt collection targets
- Communicating with management regarding debtor issues and problems
- Setting up new customer accounts and configuring appropriate credit limits
- Ensuring that credit limits and terms are adhered to, placing accounts on hold if necessary
- Managing customer queries and performing follow-up actions when required
- Organizing and conducting dispute resolution meetings
- Balancing the cash book and closing off Accounts Receivable at the end of each month
