Job Overview

The Goods In/Out Night Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cross-docking process from start to finish, including line management of the team and health and safety accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all operations at the assigned cross dock, scheduling goods receipt; sorting deliveries and ensuring timely loading of customer goods onto trucks for multi-drop dispatch.
  • Directly manage personnel assigned, including indirect supervision of third-party employees/drivers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment – clear floor, no obstructions.
  • Manage returns, empty pallets, combies, trays etc.
  • Ensure compliance with site rules by third-party users.
  • Coordinate activities (goods in/out; transport; and staff).
  • Deliver high-performance results sustainably.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, customers, drivers, and staff.

Requirements:

  • A counterbalance truck license is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working in a busy warehouse is preferred.
  • A manual handling certificate is mandatory.
