Bioprocessing Team Lead Opportunity

This challenging position involves leading a team of bioprocessing scientists and technicians in the production of advanced therapeutic medicinal products (ATMPs) at a licensed facility.

The successful candidate will oversee production, ensure high-quality standards, safety, and compliance. They will lead their team to deliver products on time and develop their skills through training, coaching, and performance reviews.

Responsibilities:
  • Production Management: Manage the production process, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and resolve delays to meet production goals.
  • GMP Compliance: Ensure all work complies with GMP standards, including data integrity and documentation. Complete and close GMP records accurately within required timelines.
  • Quality Assurance & Audits: Maintain the facility in an inspection-ready state at all times, conduct self-inspections, address quality issues promptly, and lead audit tours.
  • Safety & Risk Management: Promote safety awareness, enforce safety protocols, and encourage continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes.
Key Skills and Requirements:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership and team management skills are essential for success in this role.
  • GMP Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of GMP principles, ATMP production, and quality compliance is required.
  • Training and Development: Ability to train, coach, and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Risk Assessment and Safety Protocols: Familiarity with risk assessment and safety protocols, as well as experience maintaining inspection-ready facilities and handling audits.
