Production Leader Role

We are seeking a seasoned Production Leader to spearhead our production operations. This key position is instrumental in driving timely and efficient product delivery while maintaining high quality standards.

  • Oversight of all production cells, including Small Batch, Large Batch, Solvents, Tank Farm, Organics, Metals, and TOC, ensuring consistent target achievement.

  • Development and management of the production schedule to ensure forward planning, with strict adherence to available-to-promise (ATP) commitments.

  • Supervision of the Production QC Inspector, ensuring data collection and reporting align with the Quality Management System, and collaboration with the Quality team to minimize customer complaints.

  • Driving efficiency and cost reduction across all areas of responsibility, leveraging technology, automation, and lean manufacturing principles (including 6S, visual management, and PIT boards).

  • Participation in the production of certified reference materials in accordance with ISO17034, supporting planning and execution in collaboration with Cell Leads.

  • Leadership in resource planning across people, materials, and equipment to meet production requirements.

  • Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations across the department.

  • Management and development of direct reports, including coaching, motivation, and training to support individual and team success.

  • Contribution to or leadership of cross-functional teams on special projects as required.

  • Key role in the strategic planning and continuous improvement of production operations.

Essential Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in a senior production management role.

  • Strong understanding of production processes and lean manufacturing principles.

  • Background in laboratory supplies or similar industry is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • BSc in a Science discipline (preferably Chemistry).

  • A formal qualification in Lean Manufacturing is desirable.
