Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Site Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Sligo, Ireland.

About the Position:

  • The primary objective is to prepare standard documentation including reports, valuations, letters, and financial reports.
  • Tender documents must be prepared as required by procurement choice.
  • Analysis of tenders and preparing tender reports at all stages of procurement will be a key responsibility.
  • The role involves preparing valuations and Cost Reports; re-measuring as necessary and adjusting variations.
  • Assistance will be provided in the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims.
  • Preparing and agreeing final accounts will be a critical task.

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' proven experience working with a large main contractor in a QS role is essential.
  • BSc degree in a construction-related discipline is mandatory.
  • Excellent IT skills are required.
  • Firm understanding of contracts methods is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
