Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • We support the production of financial and regulatory reports, covering reserving and capital modelling;">
  • We assist in the analysis of reserves for various business lines and geographies;">
  • We produce and develop information to be shared with management on a regular basis;">
  • We support the production of the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment, including sensitivity, stress, and scenario testing;">
  • We develop and maintain data quality and documentation of processes across actuarial work;">
  • We collaborate with Claims, Pricing, Underwriting, Operations, and Finance functions to enhance Actuarial Reporting output;">
  • We assist with assurance and audit activities, both internally and externally;">
  • We continually improve the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of existing processes;">
  • We research, propose, and implement new techniques.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • We are looking for someone actively pursuing the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries actuarial qualification;">
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a STEM subject with a minimum grade of 2:1 is required;">
  • At least an H2 grade in Leaving Certificate Mathematics is also required;">
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language is desirable;">
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail are essential;">
  • Solid oral and written communication skills in English are necessary;">
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently are required;">
  • A strong desire to learn from and share knowledge with teammates is essential.">
