Procurement Opportunity

Role: Buyer II (11AM - 7PM GMT)

Based in the Waterford site and reporting to planning leadership, this skilled, service-focused professional is responsible for direct material procurement and inventory management across multiple U.S. manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Material Procurement and Inventory Management: Oversee procurement activities for multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring accurate and timely orders aligned with production schedules.
  • Demand Signal Monitoring: Monitor demand signals to avoid shortages and adjust procurement activity as needed.
  • Procure-to-Pay Expertise: Ensure accuracy and efficiency across the full procure-to-pay cycle, from requisition through payment.
  • Manufacturing Procurement Specialization: Bring experience in sourcing and managing materials for production environments, focusing on meeting quality, cost, and lead-time targets.
  • Inventory Optimization: Maintain optimal raw material inventory levels, supporting production while minimizing excess, slow-moving, and obsolete materials.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate across sites to ensure consistency and efficiency in material flow.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: B.S. degree or equivalent; supply chain or operations degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years in business, ideally supporting multi-site or shared service environments.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong data and analytics skills to support planning and procurement decisions.
  • Problem Solving and Adaptability: Embrace change, new technologies, and evolving customer expectations.
  • Effective Communication: Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
