About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced clinical nurse specialist to join our infection prevention and control team at Peamount Healthcare. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing comprehensive programs to prevent and control healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). You will work closely with other departments to identify and mitigate risks, and develop evidence-based policies and procedures to promote a culture of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement infection prevention and control strategies to reduce HAI
* Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies and procedures
* Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention and control best practices
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of infection prevention and control programs

Requirements:
* Registered nurse or midwife with a minimum of 5 years of experience
* Postgraduate qualification in infection prevention and control or a related field
* Proven experience in infection prevention and control
* Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control principles and practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
