Job Summary

As a Senior EHS Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in project implementation and delivery processes. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to safely deliver the completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing and maintaining the company's Safety Management System and CMS System.
  • Providing general support and assistance to the Health and Safety Manager.
  • Ensuring site personnel comply with site safety and company requirements.
  • Implementing and maintaining company safety protocols.
  • Undertaking site inspections/audits and reporting findings to the project EHS Manager.
  • Identifying training needs and reporting requirements to the project EHS Manager.
  • Delivering Health and Safety Inductions and weekly Toolbox Talks.
  • Organising and chairing Safety Meetings.
  • Reviewing sub-contractors' methods statements/risk assessments and assisting where required.
  • Assisting with accident/incident investigation reports.
  • Submitting weekly reports.
  • Carrying out daily site walks and reporting findings to project supervisors immediately.
  • Advising and assisting site teams in drafting Safe Plans of Action.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant 3rd level EHS qualification essential.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Experience working in the Construction Sector desired.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office required.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work well in a team environment.
