Job Overview

The role of a Financial Services Tax Manager entails formulating solutions to intricate technical challenges and supervising a team in high-pressure assignments. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team delivering tax compliance and international tax advisory services for a wide range of clients in the financial services sector.
  • Provide expert support on technical and commercial matters for clients' cross-border transactions and assess their international tax strategies.
  • Research and understand the evolving global tax landscape, keeping clients informed of potential impacts.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including meeting deadlines, prioritization, and billings.
  • Contribute to the development of the tax practice by proactively managing existing clients and identifying potential opportunities for additional/new client work.
  • Collaborate with the financial services advisory and audit team to provide a holistic service to existing clients and identify further opportunities for growth for the firm.
About You
  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified
  • 2-3 years' post-qualification experience in a financial services tax environment
  • Strong technical knowledge, solution-driven, and proven ability to identify opportunities for clients
  • Asset Management and/or Insurance expertise would be advantageous
  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and the financial services teams across the firm and the global network
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with proven people development skills to support the development of junior staff
  • Ambitious and eager to pursue a career in practice
