Job Role:

A skilled Production Specialist is required to join our production team in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality products in a safe, compliant and efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • The successful applicant will fully engage in continuous improvement programmes such as TPM, Lean, Six Sigma and Total Quality.
  • Participation in process and safety deviation investigations and change management processes is essential.
  • Completion of all training and development as requested is mandatory, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Production of products in compliance with batch manufacturing instructions (BMIs), production and equipment procedures is crucial.
  • Site log books, documentation and electronic records must be completed accurately, legibly and contemporaneously.
  • Following documented work instructions is vital to ensure quality product is made and properly packaged for shipment to customers.
  • Maintenance of work areas and ancillary areas, plant and equipment to the highest standards at all times is also required.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum leaving certificate is required.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of environmental, health and safety and quality compliance is essential.
  • Chemical or pharmaceutical experience and working with reactors, centrifuges, dryers, powder transfer systems, filters, pumps is advantageous.
  • A full driving licence is mandatory.
