Bid Management Lead

This is a key position in our commercial team, responsible for leading and developing professional excellence in the estimating function. The incumbent will manage the cost estimation process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop professional excellence in the estimating function in support of Sales and Hire within the Irish Business Unit, accurately, on time, and in line with client requirements.
  • Manage the cost estimation process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all estimates.
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure that all bid submissions are of the highest standard.
  • Provide a full and professional estimating service to support Commercial leads in defining Scope of Modular Hire Projects.
  • Understand and lead cost and margin calculations.
  • Develop Bid Documentation, Project BOQ, and Budgets.
  • Evaluate contractor and supplier bids and deliver category awards.
  • Support the procurement process by preparing cost estimates, derogations lists, and leading Contract Analysis.

The role requires a high level of involvement in multiple projects at any one time while requiring the ability to focus on exact requirements on specific opportunities.
