Job Overview

This role is part of the Core Project Teams (CPTs) that coordinate and manage a portfolio of programmes and projects. You will provide technical operational input and oversight in collaboration with Asset Planning, Asset Delivery, and Major Projects Functions.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will be coordinating Asset Operation requirements in relation to delivery project workshops.
  • Representing and liaising with LA Operations staff, IW Operational staff, SLA Leads, SLA Engineers, Process Optimisation, and Environmental Compliance teams.
  • Ensuring AO representation and input throughout the project, from inception to handover, including scope of works, Project Execution Plan, preferred design option, Opex Impact assessment, handover process, scope changes, and post-project review.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with key internal stakeholders across the business.
  • Promoting and delivering health and safety commitments, reinforcing positive behaviours, and delivering health and safety objectives and requirements to the highest industry standards.
  • Supporting the delivery of the Transformation Programme, driving results required within the Directorate, and supporting organisation-wide objectives.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrable technical experience in design, commissioning, and handover of water projects/programmes.
  • Experience of operations of water practices and principles.
  • A relevant third-level qualification and/or accreditation is desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience is required, with experience in the water, utilities, or similar industries being desirable.
