Business Development Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide new business consultancy to prospective clients.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on pre and post-retirement products, protection and pensions. This will involve meeting with clients, generating leads and project work.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Meeting clients / Generating Leads / Project work
  • Providing advice to clients
  • Managing relationships with clients
  • Developing new business opportunities through internal and external channels
  • Achieving agreed targets and team-based goals
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous consultative financial planning or employee benefits experience
  • Currently hold the QFA qualification or working towards (or like to achieve) the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Higher Diploma in Pensions Management leading to AIIPM qualification
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain solid client relationships
  • Strong history of delivering on agreed sales targets
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements
  • Background in generating leads from a Corporate client base
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships, trust and credibility
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Team player with a focus on working as one team
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the industry
  • Possess a full driver's license
