Elk Recruitment is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our client's production site in Kilkenny.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

  • Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management processes, ensuring seamless integration with manufacturing operations.
  • Manage the release of inventory to manufacturing and oversee the return of unused inventory.
  • Ensure real-time accuracy of inventory levels through regular cycle counting.
  • Optimize inventory storage space to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Provide expert advice to contract manufacturing customers regarding inventory levels, obsolete inventory separation, and audit assistance.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch materials to internal and external customers according to company procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in inventory management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly SAP (an advantage).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
