About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Team Lead to join our QC Department based in Swords, Co. Dublin on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for in-process testing analysis requirements of the site and instrumentation in QC. They will ensure that this is carried out in compliance with local procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • In-process testing analysis requirements of the site and instrumentation in QC
  • Managing a team of IPC analysts and a QC Instrumentation specialist
  • Scheduling the work of the team
  • Managing and controlling the laboratory instrumentation calibration and unplanned maintenance programme
  • Purchasing and installing new instruments, and commissioning them into service

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A BSc in Analytical Science, Chemistry or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in analytical chemistry, preferably with management experience
  • Strong leadership skills, with proven success of working in a team environment
