The Role Technical Scientist in Analytical Chemistry or related fieldNew Dublin City centre-based roleOperate and maintain mass spectrometry instrumentsOperate and maintain HPLC and solid-phase extraction instrumentsPerform data analysis and writing reportsYou are well-organised, a good team player, and you pay high attention to detailResponsibilities Sample preparation for LC-MS/MS analysis, colorimetric assays, solid-phase extraction, sample fractionationWorking with teams across the company to characterise bioactive peptides through the discovery and early development phasesDesign experiments independently and perform experiments to the highest standardsUse of electronic laboratory notebookPlay an active role in adhering to and improving laboratory safetyMaintain up-to-date knowledge of technical developments, particularly regarding timesaving, more efficient techniquesAdministrative duties including management of equipment and suppliers, compliance with regulatory policies, procedures, directives, and mandatesAbout You Strong interpersonal skillsFlexible team playerCollaborative working styleArticulate with strong communication skillsAbility to describe complex scientific information to non-scientific audiencesHighly organised, ability to multi-task and work both independently or within a teamRequirements MSc in analytical chemistry or relevant field with at least 2 years' experience in industryExperience in working with peptides and proteins is highly advantageousExperience with LCMS, HPLC, and sample preparation techniques preferredProven ability to deliver results and entire projects in a timely mannerProven ability to work independentlyExcellent presentation skillsFluency in EnglishComputer literateDoes this sound like you?
